What do you think about this paragraph about a ten-year old being asked to try alcohol?

The Broomes have a 10-year old girl named Sheila. They go to visit their friend Amy at her house in the country. Amy is serving Chardonnay with grapes, French bread and Roquefort. Amy asks Sheila if she would like to try a sip of the Chardonnay. She agrees, and her parents do not object. After Amy gives her a sip of the Chardonnay and a bite of the bread, Sheila exclaims, "It's good!" And then Amy mimics her. The parents still say nothing. This is a true story that happened in Middle America in 1977 (during the decade of madness -- the hangover from the 1960s). The names have been changed.
